Installing Parallels Desktop 10 Tools for Windows 10

I came across an issue when running a Windows 10 Enterprise guest in Parallels Desktop 10 where the "Install Parallels Tools" option was missing on the Actions menu, it should have looked something like this, but it wasn't there.

You can get around this by Mounting the Parallels Desktop Tools ISO within your VM and running the installer interactively.

The ISO's for Parallels Desktop 10 Tools are available in:
/Applications/Parallels Desktop.app/Contents/Resources/Tools

You may  find it easier to copy the ISO elsewhere to make it easier to mount inside your VM. To get to the Tools folder you will need to Show the Package contents for the Parallels Desktop App by using the "Show Package Contents" on the Alt menu for the App

then navigate down through the folders until you find the ISO for you OS.

Once you have the ISO copied to somewhere easier to find, such as your Desktop, open your VM settings and Mount the ISO:

Once the ISO is mounted Auto Run should kick in within your VM, if AutoRun is disabled browse to your Windows CD drive within your VM and run AutoRun.exe and complete the Windows installation as usual.

Once the Tools are installed you will be prompted to Restart your Windows VM.

Now the Tools are installed the "Reinstall Parallel Tools: option should appear on your VM Action Menu:
